Ingredients:

  • 150g of all-purpose flour
  • 100g of granulated sugar
  • 50g of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 120ml of milk
  • 50ml of vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 100g of powdered sugar
  • 50ml of water
  • Black food coloring

Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, and whisk well.
  • Add the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter evenly into a muffin tin lined with cupcake liners.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the cupcakes to cool completely on a wire rack.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar with water and a few drops of black food coloring until you achieve a thick glaze.
  • Use a piping bag to create a web design on top of each cupcake with the black glaze.
