Ingredients:
- 50ml of white rum
- 30ml of fresh lime juice
- 60ml of pomegranate juice
- 10 leaves of fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Soda water to top off
- Ice cubes
- Pomegranate seeds for garnish
- Basil sprig for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Muddler
- Shaker
- Glass
- Strainer
- Jigger
Instructions:
- In a glass, muddle the fresh basil leaves with sugar and lime juice until the basil is fragrant and the sugar has dissolved.
- Add the white rum and pomegranate juice into the glass and mix well.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes.
- Top off with soda water to your preferred fizz level.
- Stir gently to combine all the ingredients without damaging the basil too much.
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a sprig of basil.
